At The International Learner, we support globally minded students, families, educators, and universities in navigating the full landscape of international education. Every learner’s path is different, and our services are designed to meet you where you are; whether you are planning a degree abroad, guiding students through global opportunities, or seeking to engage with American students and schools.

With decades of experience and a trusted international network, we provide clear guidance, practical resources, and personalized support to help every client take confident steps toward meaningful global learning.

Planning for the best international education doesn’t have to be overwhelming for students and families. Getting a degree abroad doesn’t have to mean major financial strain or huge student debt.  Whether you’re just starting to plan for college or need help finding the right graduate program overseas, The International Learner has a service that fits.

Andrea and her global network of collaborators guide learners through the discovery, application, and enrollment process using their knowledge, network, and advising skills to help students reach their international educational destination.

For Students and Families

Prior to selecting any service, every student, and their parents, will participate in a 30 minute exploratory meeting with Andrea to discuss goals, roles, and responsibilities free of charge. Once all participants feel confident to move forward in the counselling process, we work to meet students where they are on their international learning journey.

  1.  Hourly Assistance:

Hourly counselling on international educational opportunities is available one-on-one for the student or family who may choose to explore whether international education can be the right choice for a gap year experience, study abroad, or degree program.

Staying on top of opportunities, and the process to attend university internationally, is a full time endeavor and one that many high school counselors do not have the time to incorporate into their busy schedules. The International Learner partners with high school counselors, teachers, and other IECs to raise awareness of international education by offering pro-bono high school counselor and community support such as:
